Application review process

When we review your application to become an affiliate, we look for a strong interest in distributing BBT books and a ready means by which to distribute them in digital format.

Once you’ve registered for an affiliate account, our team will check the information you’ve provided, including any websites, mobile apps, social media pages, or other distribution avenues you’ve listed. Therefore please provide your social media page’s exact URL – do not list only the network URL, such as facebook.com or instagram.com, etc.

We’ll be looking for both potential to use these online places, and especially activity that shows your interest in reading, presenting, advertising, or selling BBT books, preferably posts that include introducing BBT books to your audiences.

Your online presence for the purpose of this affiliate program

  • must be publicly available (no closed groups or sites hidden behind a paywall)

  • your website(s) must be owned by you

  • social media pages must be active, showing a healthy number of recent posts and viewers

No unsuitable sites will be approved under any circumstance. Unsuitable sites include those which

  • promote or contain sexually explicit or obscene materials

  • promote violence or which contain violent materials or promote, endorse, or incite potentially dangerous or harmful acts

  • promote or contain false, deceptive, libelous, or defamatory materials

  • promote or contain materials or activity that is hateful, harassing, harmful, invasive of another’s privacy, abusive, or discriminatory (including on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age)

  • promote or undertake illegal activities

  • are directed toward children or knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age or other age thresholds as defined by applicable laws and regulations; or violate any applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, licenses, permits, guidelines, codes of practice, industry standards, self-regulatory rules, judgments, decisions, or other requirements of any applicable governmental authority related to child protection

  • include any trademark of The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc., or any of its affiliates, or a variant or misspelling of a trademark of The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc. or its affiliates in any domain name, subdomain name, in any “tag” or affiliate ID, or in any username, group name, or other identifier on any social networking site

or which

  • otherwise violates any intellectual property rights

Suitability is determined at our sole discretion. If we reject your application due to unsuitable content, you may reapply at any time once you have complied with our suitability requirements.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information in your affiliate program application and information otherwise associated with your account, including any and all contact information and the identification of your online presences, is at all times complete, accurate, and up-to-date. If at any time we send notifications, approvals, or other communications relating to the affiliate program to the email address then-currently associated with your program account, it will be deemed to have been received by you, even if the email address associated with your account is no longer current.
